CCRA and ESIA reporting shaped by your lender's requirements.
ECRMA provides Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRA) and Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) reporting services for submission to KfW and comparable international financial institutions. We define and, where required, revise the scope, methodology and delivery format around the lender's project-specific requirements.
CCRA
Climate Change Risk Assessment
- Physical climate hazards, exposure and vulnerability assessment
- Climate scenarios and time horizons relevant to the project lifecycle
- Transition risk and financial impact assessment, where in scope
- Adaptation measures, residual risks and monitoring plans
ESIA
Environmental and Social Impact Assessment
- Scoping and review of baseline environmental and social information
- Assessment of project impacts, risks and feasible alternatives
- Stakeholder engagement and coordination of specialist field studies, where in scope
- Mitigation measures and environmental and social management and monitoring plans
We identify technical expertise and fieldwork needs for each project and incorporate the relevant specialists into the agreed scope.
Define the scope. Adapt the report to lender requirements.
For financing processes involving institutions such as KfW, EBRD, IFC and EIB, we work from the relevant institution's requirements and the frameworks applicable to the project. The level of detail reflects the project type, location, risk category and existing documentation. We can review existing reports, identify gaps and update them in response to lender comments within the agreed scope.
Four-stage process

Review data and gaps

Conduct the assessment
